What people are saying about Snips Wigs!

  • I went to Laura to purchase a new wig for my daughter who is almost 14.

From the minute we stepped into the salon Laura and her colleague Gerri were incredibly kind and helpful. Laura is so knowledgeable and has years of experience so I felt in very safe hands.

She showed my daughter a few different wigs which were all beautiful and very high quality. The first one my daughter chose was absolutely stunning and so natural looking so she decided this was the one for her. I couldn't believe how well priced it was for such a high quality human hair wig.

Laura was so lovely and really put my daughter at ease. She took plenty of time to answer any questions we had and we never felt rushed. I cannot recommend Laura and the team at Snips highly enough for their professionalism, kindness and knowledge.

  • Laura in Snips Medical Wigs is simply just amazing. I have suffered with Alopecia Universalis for the last 10 years and have been wearing wigs since I was 16 years old. I always dreaded the time when it came around to getting a new one, until I first visited Snips Medical Wigs last year. I never thought I would find somewhere so perfect to buy my wigs. It’s always a pleasure going in to see Laura and she makes what can be a stressful and daunting experience so relaxing. Since first visiting Snips Medical Wigs I immediately felt so comfortable and no longer dread this experience. Laura is so kind, caring and really listens to you and what you’re looking for. She is so helpful and has an abundance of stock of all types of wigs to help you find exactly what you’re looking for and the exact one to suit you. She is always on the other end of the phone if you ever need her and will always help as much as she can. I cannot recommend Laura in Snips medial for anyone looking to buy a new wig or their first wig. She’s truly amazing and I cannot complement her highly enough for a truly amazing service she provides.

  • "Laura Harris is a special person with an incredible talent. She will put you at ease with her calm and good humoured approach and takes the time needed to source the wig with the best colour. From the moment I sat in her chair in the bright, airy and spacious surroundings of her rooms in the Beacon. When I collected my wig, she was as excited and happy as I was. The likeness in colour and texture to my own highlighted blonde hair was uncanny. I was terrified at the prospect of losing my hair because of chemotherapy, but I’m so confident now at not having to lose this important part of my identity."

  • "Laura, from the first glance at you yesterday you were amazing. You have such a skill to put people at ease, support, reassure and educate. The beauty of you is that these skills are so natural for you, there was nothing fake or disingenuous about you or the service you offer. You changed the whole experience and enlightened a life, for that I will be forever grateful."

  • On behalf of the second year Radiation Therapy class, we would like to thank you for an amazing lecture and for sharing your journey with us. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot about a whole other way we can take care of our patients. I have included some feedback I got from the class. I hope you find it helpful for the future.

-Aoife Costello, SF Radiation Therapy, Trinity College, Dublin.

  • "I thought the snips lecture was the best talk we’ve gotten so far. She gave us an insight into the life of a patient before, during and after treatment. She gave us a lot of info on how wigs are made and chosen and practical advice on how to manage a patient with hair loss."

-2nd Year Student SF Radiation Therapy, Trinity College, Dublin.

  • "I thought it was very interesting and she gave a lot of useful information to us regarding how she deals with customers and when they lose their hair and what to do."

2nd Year Student SF Radiation Therapy, Trinity College, Dublin.

  • "The SNIPS talk was so, so, so interesting. I think it must be so nice for patients who are suffering to go to a place like this and talk to someone who understands what they are going through and can empathise with them. She spoke so well about her illness and all her ups and downs. I loved how she was so open with us and it really reinforced the fact that cancer can have major psychological effects on people."
